Since our venture began, land use planning has played a fundamental role, as we promote the care and protection of flora and fauna by recovering abandoned areas, pastures, and fallow land through agroforestry systems (SAF). We also designate primary forest reserve areas, areas for growing medicinal plants, and protected areas for our streams. We are 14 families who feed ourselves with healthy, organically grown products. We sell 24 products, including our coffee, of which we sell approximately 5,000 bags. This coffee is cared for, cultivated, and produced using traditional and organic methods. Recently, during the chestnut harvest season, we managed to collect between 10 and 15 barrels. In addition, we have an experiential ecotourism route, where visitors can learn about all our work and how we do it. This route is an opportunity to raise awareness about caring for our environment, how to protect streams, reforest degraded areas through SAF, and our shared responsibility for the pollution of the places where we live, especially streams.
